UpEasy - Seat Assist - UPE 1

The UpEasy Seat Assist UPE1 provides controlled lifting support for people with restricted mobility, lifting up to 80 percent of the user's weight. The self-powered lifting action is provided by a hydro-pneumatic piston that releases slowly and gently as the user begins to stand. The UpEasy Seat Assist UPE1 has been clinically tested and proven very useful for clients with lower extremity weakness, allowing them to have an active and independent lifestyle.

These products greatly enhance the quality of life and independence for people who suffer from severe arthritis, Parkinson's, Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, post-operative conditions and other degenerative joint diseases. They also assist caregivers in transferring patients from wheelchairs to conventional seating.

Please note the following about all portable Seat Lift products:

• Seat Lifts are not intended to replace a Lift Chair.
• Seat Lifts are comfortable for, at most, a couple of hours at a time.
• Seat Lifts do not work well on soft surfaces such as a couch.

If you intend to use a Seat Lift regularly for more than an hour at a time, we highly recommend a Lift Chair. In fact, a Seat Lift makes a good companion for Lift Chair users as it can give you a lift away from home, such as when eating dinner out or for a short visit at a family or friend's home.
